Built from ballistic nylon built around a lightweight chassis and protected by a Gore-Tex membrane, the Salomon Cosmic 4 GTX borrows technology from trail running shoes while offering 4 layers of underfoot protection, which is the outersole, cushioning, midsole support plate and foam insole.
